Three workshops has to be conducted at the second and third stages of the project "Strengthening CBO capacity to empower communities for more effective participation in poverty reduction strategies at local and national levels".

Two regional workshops has to bring together local actors including CBOs, NGOs, local governments and international organizations implementing community development projects in respective areas in order to:

bulletReview the Report on Situational Analysis of CBOs in Georgia
bulletWork out a key provisions of the national strategy for strengthening CBO capacity for effective participation in the implementation of EDPRP at local and national levels

The first regional workshop was carried out in Kutaisi on July 25, 2003.

The next regional workshop carried out in Gori on September 29, 2003.

The national workshop was carried out on November 27 in the city of Tbilisi.
