In addition to its core research programs, PSI is engaged a number of action-oriented projects through its affiliated organizations:

Georgian Collegiate Consortium (GCC) 

A joint endeavor of PSI and two other Georgian educational organizations—the Caucasus Institute for Peace, Democracy and Development (CIPDD) and Chavchavadze State University—GCC aims to develop in a liberal arts undergraduate program in Georgia, as a model for reform of higher education. 

 

Alliance for Business Environment Development in Georgia (ABED)

ABED brings together over 70 business and professional organizations, and businesses, dedicated to advancing, implementing, and mobilizing policy necessary for the betterment of the business environment.  ABED has is focusing on developing strategies to reducing the level of the extralegal economy in Georgia by identifying the barriers that prevent businesses from entering the formal sphere and develop recommendations for legislative and administrative changes that can promote legalization of the businesses.  ABED taken the leading role in the public participation in the preparation of the Poverty Reduction and Economic Growth Program (PREGP), and as a result, securing the highest level of non-governmental involvement in decision making in Georgian history.

 

Liberal Education Society (LES)

PSI is using the successful model of coalition-based advocacy it developed with ABED to bring together a wide-ranging alliance of organization dedicated to the advancement of educational reform in Georgia by advocating for and educated the society about the benefits of liberal education.
